I am an Assistant Teaching Professor in the School of Computer Science at UMass Amherst (lecturer in UMass terms). I teach several courses in the department, work on making the undergraduate program the best it can be, advise both undergraduate and graduate students, and participate in a number of research projects. My general interest is in the area of systems. In particular, I am interested in collecting large data and transforming and interpreting that data to extract useful information that can be applied to solving problems in compilers, virtual machines, web systems, and computer science learning systems and environments.
